Michael Dovalina

Michael Dovalina serves as Vice President of Arch-Con’s Community Division, where he leads business development, oversees estimating, project management and the successful completion of each project. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Dovalina has developed a hands-on approach to communication with clients, architects, engineers and trade partners, thriving on solving construction challenges. Dovalina has been with Arch-Con for nearly a decade, during which he has successfully completed complex community-focused developments, award-winning historic renovations, and high-rise projects with tight deadlines. Over the course of his career, he has managed more than $400 million in construction, encompassing over two million square feet across sectors such as education, hospitality, healthcare, interiors, multifamily, and non-profit projects.
Specializing in non-profit projects, Dovalina brings expertise in federal, state and local compliance and has a unique understanding of the full project life cycle—from preconstruction and fundraising coordination to community engagement. Dovalina’s leadership embodies the Community Division’s mission to construct purposeful architecture for passionate clients, through meaningful partnerships to enhance the community. Dovalina earned a degree in construction management with a minor in architecture from the University of Houston and is a recipient of the 2020 AGC Houston Standard of Excellence Award
