Medical Center of Tomball Breaks Ground
Patient accessibility and best-in-class care top-of-mind
HOUSTON (May 3, 2021) – Arch-Con® Corporation broke ground on the first phase of the Medical Center of Tomball to make medical care more convenient and accessible for patients living near Tomball, Texas. Located northwest of Houston off of Highway 249 at 155 School St., the project is developed by Bryant + Stacy Group (BSG) in collaboration with Global Healthcare Partners.
Global Healthcare Partners President & CEO Tim Delgado who partners with doctors, health systems and developers to bring customized, scalable healthcare facilities to life said, “Medical Center of Tomball is a perfect example of a ‘patients-first’ movement toward more convenient, first-class, consumer-facing healthcare facilities.”
Phase I is a three-story, 64,395-square-foot medical office building designed by Browne McGregor Architects which was 97% preleased prior to breaking ground. The building consists of concrete tilt-wall panels, curtainwall, aluminum storefront, thin stone veneer with cast stone accents and high-end, Class A lobby finishes.
“Arch-Con’s volume share in the construction of medical office buildings, real-time information on market pricing and coming in early in the development process allowed us to collaborate with Browne McGregor on the best materials and construction methods,” Michael G. Scheurich, Founder and CEO of Arch-Con said. “This was particularly important right now with construction prices and material delays a creative puzzle to sort.”
Principal Will Stacy with BSG, a Houston-based commercial real estate development, investment and strategic acquisition firm, said, “BSG is focusing more of our attention on medical office buildings and this project is a reflection of our intention to do just that.”
The healthcare tenant build-outs include imaging and diagnostic suites, a primary care physician group and a variety of specialty care providers and outpatient services.
“The project is centered around top primary care along with multiple best-in-class specialists,” Delgado said. “The finest possible patient experience is always our team’s top priority.”
